My Personal Experience with Two Specific Essential Oils

Our little family became familiar with the wonders of Essential Oils back in the fall while visiting family in Arizona.  My sister met a wonderful lady who runs a Wellness Center and they became friends. I had the pleasure of meeting her at the center and she was full of information and great advice.  After having her put a wonderful blend of oils on my neck and me going "Wow!", I just had to know more.  To make the long story short, we are now Oil Freaks and we will not go without them!  All this to say that my allergies have been bothering me a lot lately, so I looked up which oils work best for allergies and so far this is what has worked out wonderfully for me: Lemon oil in my water (which I love drinking constantly anyways) and a peppermint oil beadlet under my tongue.  Works great (at least for me).

So, if you are looking for more natural ways to take card of your family I highly recommend checking out Essential Oils and their benefits.
How does this relate to homeschooling?  Well, here is what I do.  As I learn about oils, so does my family.  My 6 year old daughter can tell you which oils are her favorite, which ones she wants at night for sleeping well, which one she would like when she has a stuffy nose and which one purifies the air.  If you get books on Essential Oils you can learn about chemistry, reflex points, household usage and so much more!
It's so much fun!!!!
Enjoy!
